Civic Front renames ‘Somos México’ & files for party registration

The Mexican political opposition umbrella group Civic Front has renamed itself Somos México and filed for political party registration with the National Electoral Institute. If successful, the new party will count a slew of former opposition party heavyweights among its founders such as Enrique de la Madrid (PRI), Gustavo Madero (PAN), and Cecilia Soto (PT).
