Deputies reject request to strip Cuauhtémoc Blanco of immunity

The investigations committee in the Chamber of Deputies has rejected a request from the Morelos state prosecutor to strip Cuauhtémoc Blanco, the former Governor of Morelos and current Federal Deputy for Morena, of his immunity. The request came as the prosecutor’s office investigates two claims of sexual assault against Blanco. Read more at El Financiero.
