Ebrard gives ‘Made in Mexico’ stamp to EV truck Taruck

Marcelo Ebrard, the Trade Secretary, awarded the ‘Hecho en Mexico’ stamp to Taruk, the first fully electric truck to be made in the country, in what was described as a “boost” to the entire in-country value chain, given most electric trucks currently in Mexico are imported from China. 70% of the truck’s components come from Mexico.
