Sheinbaum, Morena reject UN probe into forced disappearances in Mexico

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbuam’s government, as well as her ruling Morena Party, has rejected a UN decision to open an invetigation into forced disappearances in Mexico. Sheinbaum said on Tuesday that “forced disappearances do not exist in Mexico,” to calls that the UN representative for the Committee on Enforced Disappearances be dismissed.
