Pemex hasn’t published debt updates since July ‘24

Pemex, the state-run oil giant, hasn’t published a report on debt outstanding to suppliers since July, when it was revealed it had a backlog worth more than MXN $1 trillion in outstanding invoices. President Sheinbaum said the government has created a mechanism to ensure payments to suppliers between January - March of this year, and insisted some were paid in December, without going into further detail.
