Saul Monreal insists he will govern Zacatecas “if the people ask”

Saul Monreal, brother of Morena’s Coordinator in the Chamber of deputies Ricardo Monreal, has insisted he will stand for governor of Zacatecas “if the people ask for it.” Saul Monreal would be the third Monreal to govern Zacatecas, and would do so against the advice of President Claudia Sheinbaum who has launched an anti-nepotism drive.
