Security chief quietly assembling elite anti-narco force

Mexico’s Security Secretary, Omar García Harfuch, is quietly assembling an elite anti-narco force that will sit outside of the military under civilian command. The National Operations Unit has not been formally announced by the government, but its existence is an “open secret” within Mexican law enforcement.
