Sheinbaum touts Mexican-made EVs

Olinia, billed as the first manufacturer of Mexican engineered “mini electric vehicles,” is scheduled to release three models next year in time for the World Cup. President Sheinbaum has marked Olinia’s development as a priority for her government. She led a press conference yesterday marking the announcement, where she also revealed the government is yet to decide on a location where manufacturing of the vehicles will take place.
