Trump announces tariffs on non-US auto imports

US President Donald Trump announced yesterday the imposition of 25% tariffs on all non-US manufactured auto imports. These tariffs are in addition to other levies already imposed by both Trump and former President Joe Biden. The administration said the tariffs would apply to cars and car parts manufactured under the USMCA agreement, and are due to take effect April 3rd. Read more at The New York Times.
