Trump’s team pushes Mexico to impose tariffs on China

The White House is pushing Mexico to impose tariffs on Chinese goods in exchange for a further reprieve of the levies for Mexico, according to people familiar with the meeting between US Trade Envoy Howard Lutnick and Mexican Trade Secretary Marcelo Ebrard which took place last week. Ebrard apparently did not make a specific commitment to do so at the meeting. Read more at El Financiero.
