US slaps new 20% tariffs on Mexican tomatoes

The US Department of Agriculture has announced a new 20% tariff on tomatoes grown in Mexico, to come into effect on July 14. The announcement comes as the US government withdrew from a 2019 agreement which suspended an investigation into oversupply in the market. Read more at Animal Politíco.
